Step 1: Research dreams by visiting at least 3 websites of different kinds that discuss or give information on dreams. The three types of websites are 1) Medical, 2) Dream theory, 3) Psychology

Step 2: Decide what you think about dreams and their importance. In The Alchemist, they certainly play a certain role in helping Santiago decide what to do. Do you think Santiago was wise in his decision to follow a dream that came to him at night? Would you ever do the same thing? Do you think dream interpretation is true or is it just made up stuff? Why?

Step 3: On your blog, add a post in which you write about what you think about dreams. You can answer the above questions, write a dream log of what you have dreamt the last few nights, or describe the most powerful dream you've ever had. Or, you can do all three. Make sure the post is at least 300 words and cites 2-3 specific pieces of information you found during your research.

Step 4: Join the "dream" discussion on my blog by posting a comment to today's post. Read my post, what other students have read, and respond with your own opinion on the topic. If you post under a nickname, make sure to include your name in your comment so I know to give you credit.
